Detailed Product Description:

AC-130 is a high performance surface preparation for adhesive bonding

of aluminum alloys, steel, titanium, and composites.  To develop full rated

structural adhesive strength, proper surface preparation is a must.

Originating with Boeing Aircraft Company under their name, “Boegel EP-II”

and sometimes referred to as a “Sol-Gel” preparation, AC-130 is a one-step,

environmentally-friendly surface preparation compound, that is free of

chromates, phosphoric acids, and ferrocyanides.

Application Notes:

Bonded aluminum joints prepared using AC-130 and evaluated using Boeing’s

wedge test have been shown to develop adhesion strengths similar to those when

prepared using the popular PAA (Phosphoric Acid Anodize) preparation.

This 500ml kit makes sufficient solution to cover up to 25 square feet.
