Detailed Product Description:

An organic acid in its pure form as a clear, colorless liquid with

a pungent odor.  Combustible.  Soluble in water, alcohol, glycerol

and ether.

Commonly used in production of plastics, dyes, insecticides, food

additives and in household cleaning agents.

Precautions:

Combustible.  Moderate fire risk.  Pure acetic acid is moderately toxic

by ingestion and inhalation while its dilute forms are approved by the

FDA for food use.  Strong irritant to skin and mucous membranes.
