Detailed Product Description:

 

A colorless, transparent liquid with a yellowish fuming due to release of nitrogen

 

dioxide on exposure to light.  Soluble in water.  Corrosive to almost all metals.

 

Commonly used in rocket fuels, explosives, photoengraving, etching of steel

 

and in electropolishing.

 

 

Grade/Brand:

 

This is from Air Products (formerlyAshland) and is cleanroom/semiconductor

 

grade, high purity, low particulate.

Strong irritant to eyes and skin.  Highly toxic by inhalation.  Corrosive to skin
