A colorless combustible liquid with a mild odor.  Soluble in alcohol, ketones, esters,

hydrocarbons, oil and water.

Commonly used as a solvent for cellulosic-based compounds, resins, lacquers, paints,

enamels, and varnishes.

Combustible.  Moderate fire risk.
