Detailed Product Description:

Henkel Alodine 22 Toner is a liquid chemical composition intended for use with Alodine 600

to create an immersion bath for application of a protective conversion coating on

aluminum surfaces.

Background:

Alodine® is a registered trademark of Henkel Surface Technologies and is a chemical

treatment process for aluminum used to provide corrosion protection and as a surface

preparation for paint and adhesives.  Sometimes called “aluminum passivation,” it

contains hexavalent chromium and is intended to provide corrosion prevention even

when left unpainted.  

Specification & Certifications:

Alodine 22 Toner is used in conjunction with Alodine 600 as defined in Mil-C-5541-F. 

Application Notes:

Consult Henkel “Technical Process Bulletin #234114” (see link below) for recommended usage in conjunction with Alodine 600-based immersion baths.

Packaging/Size:

Comes packed in 1-gallon-sized poly jug.
