Detailed Product Description:

Pumice is a natural mineral derived from volcanic ash formed by the solidification

of lava that is permeated with gas bubbles.  Pumice powder is among the softest

of all abrasive media. 

Application Notes:

Use pumice powder for less aggressive operations where the protection of the

surface is of supreme importance.  Pumice is one of the best media choices for

plastics.  Excellent for stripping paint or powder coatings from sheet metal

and fiberglass.  Works best at low air pressures.

Suggested Air Pressure:                                  35-90 psi

Grit Size:                                                              #40 (screen size 0.0165”)

Hardness:                                                             6 Moh  (Diamond = 10)
