This model is called a “Full Style”, which is elliptical in shape, similar to

a flat brush but with rounded edges—ideal for varnish application.

These fine brushes are imported from the legendary Omega Brushworks

of Bologna, Italy.  This venerable firm produces a range of brushes made

with the famous Chinese boar bristles, noted for their resilience and durability.

China boar bristle is the traditional filling material for the highest quality

paint brushes.  It is unique in that it is naturally tapered and flagged.  China's

vast geography provides varying climates thus causing hog bristles to develop

stiffness characteristics on a regional basis.  Each hair is split to produce

optimum softness. 

All Omega brushes are handmade and packed full, without a spacer in the

ferrule.  Unlike the epoxy setting of many brushes, Omega sets its bristles

in hard, vulcanized rubber – impervious to solvents – which is then seated

inside a stainless steel ferrule.  All Omega brushes are mounted on balanced,

varnished, pecan handles.  Quite simply, these are the world’s finest brushes.

Clear finishes achieve their full potential in appearance and longevity when
