Detailed Product Description:
Often called “TMAH” in the semiconductor industry, it is a colorless
liquid with a strong ammonia-like odor. Very strong base.
This is a quaternary ammonium salt solution often used as an etchant
for silicon.
Grade, Concentration & Purity:
This product is of semiconductor grade with a minimum purity of
99.95% purity and exceptionally low particulate levels. Concentration
is 25%.
Application Notes:
Typically used in photolithography in the semiconductor industry as
An anisotropic etchant for silicon. Also used as a developer for acid-based
photoresists. Highly effective as a stripping agent for some photoresists.
Precautions:
Danger! Poison! Corrosive alkaline solution. Causes burns to any area
of contact. May be fatal if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin.
