Detailed Product Description:

This is a powdered, organic, water-soluble dye, specifically formulated

to provide a bright blue coloration of chromate conversion coatings.

Application Notes:

Best results are achieved when used in conjunction with Henkel Alodine

1201 (gold chromate).  Follow the instructions of the Technical Process

Bulletin for application of Alodine 1201.  After the immersion period

and its subsequent water rinse, the part is immediately immersed into the dye

while still wet.  This is followed by another rinse and the standard 24 hour

air dry period.

Dye Preparation:

This dye composition is highly concentrated.  Typical recommended

dilution is 4 grams (about a half teaspoon) of dye per liter of distilled

or deionized water.

Packaging/Size:

Contents of 50 grams comes packed in 1250ml sized HDPE wide-mouthed

bottle.  This is sufficient for preparing up to 6 gallons of immersion bath.
