Detailed Product Description:

This etching solution is formulated specifically for surface etching

of the “Super Alloys” (nickel, cobalt or nickel-iron alloys) for

metallographic inspection.   

It is formulated in percentages by volume as follows:

• 100ml (38%) Hydrochloric Acid

   

• 100ml Ethyl Alcohol

   

• 5 grams Copper (II) Chloride

   

Precautions:

Strong irritant to eyes and skin.  Toxic by inhalation.  Corrosive to skin

and mucous membranes.
