Detailed Product Description:

 

A colorless, transparent liquid with a yellowish fuming due to release of nitrogen

 

dioxide on exposure to light. Soluble in water. Corrosive to almost all metals.

 

 

 

Grade/Brand:

 

This is from Air Products (formerly Ashland) and is cleanroom/semiconductor

 

grade, high purity, low particulate.

 

 

 

Applications:

 

Commonly used in metal cleaning, etching, photoengraving, etching of steel,

 

electropolishing, and for gold testing.

 

 

 

Specification Compliance:

 

This grade exceeds the requirements of Federal Standard A-A-59105

 

(formerly O-N-350).
